People with ARFID find new foods have strange or intense tastes, textures or smells and they feel safer eating foods they know well. Others have had scary experiences with food like vomiting, choking or allergic reaction, so they may avoid the foods that made them sick. Whilst others don't feel hungry very often, find eating a chore, are disinterested in food, or get full very quickly. People with ARFID can fall into one, two or three of these concerns.
